“No!” Shi Ning quickly begged Qin Heye in a low voice, nestled in his arms. “Let me rest. I still need these little hands.”
Qin Heye looked down at her, his voice hoarse with desire. “I can do it myself. I don’t need your assistance.”
Shi Ning: ??? The thought of it alone was unimaginable, unthinkable for her .
Back home, Qin Heye carried Shi Ning directly into the bathroom. He stood there, a vision of restrained power in his crisp white shirt, buttoned meticulously to the last button, revealing only the strong line of his Adam’s apple. He undid his cuffs, rolling up his sleeves to upto his forearms. Then, holding the showerhead, his face sternly handsome, though he meticulously bathed Shi Ning. He, himself remained perfectly dressed, his movements seamless, treating her like a rare, delicate treasure—carefully, reverently, without a hint of impropriety.
Shi Ning, however, was not immune to his allure. She was utterly captivated. The water soaked his pristine white shirt, clinging to his form, revealing the undeniable definition of his eight-pack abs, exuding an almost unbearable tension. Most striking was the stark contrast: his earnest, almost pious face, the undeniable tremor in his heavy breathing, and the voluptuous, almost sensual contours revealed beneath the wet fabric of his shirt . Thisduality brought his allure to its peak. Shi Ning at this moment truly felt she was facing a male fox.
Unable to hold back, she whispered, “Qin Heye.”
Qin Heye, ever restrained, simply wiped her dry with a towel before gently helping her into her pajamas. “Be good, you’re not feeling well. You need to be pure and abstain . I’ll spare you these few days.”
With everything done, Qin Heye lifted Shi Ning into his arms, carrying her sideways. Shi Ning hugged his neck, with a playful glint in her eyes, and lightly bit him saying . “Wait for me , I’ll definatley get my revenge!”
“My wife’s revenge,” Qin Heye said, his lips curling into a knowing smile. “I’ll wait for it anxiuosly !”
Later that night, Shi Qingyin was rudely awakened by a frantic call from Shen Xizhou. He railed at her, detailing the humiliating experience of being put in a sack and beaten by Qin Heye. The very “bad idea” she had hatched had now become a terrifying reality, confirmed by Qin Heye’s brutal actions. As it’s her bad ideas; she can wait for Qin Heye to come find her to settle accounts with her !
Shi Qingyin couldn’t go back to sleep after this call . A cold dread gripped her. She was terrified that Qin Heye would send someone to put her in a sack and beat her too. She knew he was capable of it; he wouldn’t discriminate between men and women if they crossed him. Annoying him meant facing his ruthless retaliation, regardless of gender. All night, every rustle, every faint sound, sent shivers of fear down her spine. This feeling of waiting for a death sentence was far worse than if Qin Heye had simply sent someone to attack her directly.
She endured the torment, trembling, until ten in the morning. As she confirmed it was a workday, and Qin Heye should be at his company. Only then did Shi Qingyin dare to call Shi Ning.
This time, Shi Ning answered quickly.
Shi Qingyin’s voice was a cautious whisper. “Sister, Master Qin isn’t by your side this time, is he…?” Fearful that Shi Ning would play games again, she quickly changed her tone. “Master Qin isn’t under you, nor is he within a hundred meters of you. He went to the company, right?”
Shi Ning, holding a transfer contract in her hand, replied, “He left early.”
Shi Qingyin breathed a deep sigh of relief. “So… are you still going to the hospital to see Brother Xizhou today?”
Shi Ning’s lips curled into a sly smile. “Yes, I’m just leaving now.” The process of “digging” the truth had to be swift and decisive.
“So,” Shi Qingyin continued, her voice still cautious, “you know about Master Qin beating Brother Xizhou last night, right?”
“Yes, Qin Heye and I did it together.” Shi Ning settled into her pink BMW. “We didn’t do what my cousin said, so of course we have to prove it.” She allowed Lin Han to drive, then smiled, her voice sweet and crisp, yet with an undeniable edge. “So, my cousin, please be careful what you say next time.” With that, she hung up.
Shi Qingyin’s scalp tingled once more at Shi Ning’s words. Finally, she could only suppress the overwhelming fatigue from her sleepless night, get up, put on her makeup, and head to the hospital to find Shen Xizhou. Today, she vowed, she must take a picture of Shi Ning and Shen Xizhou being intimate and send it to Qin Heye! she can definitely do it!
Upon arriving at the hospital, Shi Ning spotted the young nurse at the station. She greeted her with a cheerful smile. “Little beauty, your precious sister is here again.”
The young nurse blushed furiously: !!! Why, after changing departments, can she still run into this precious sister!
Shi Ning then entered the ward. And Shi Qingyin immediately stood up from her seat seeing her with , a fake smile plastered on her face. “Sister, you’re here! Brother Xizhou has been waiting for you for a long time.”
Shen Xizhou looked up at Shi Ning, then snorted coldly. “Don’t you dislike me? What are you doing here?”
Shi Ning refused to tolerate his petulance. She held up the transfer contract in her hand. “Then I’ll leave?”
Shi Qingyin quickly grabbed her arm. “Sister, Brother Xizhou is angry with you and said that on purpose. He knows you must have been coerced by Master Qin to do what you did last night.”
Shi Ning’s reply was simple, devastatingly direct. “I wasn’t coerced. I did it willingly.”
“Shi Ning…!!!” Shen Xizhou’s face contorted in anger, ready to unleash a torrent of curses. But then his eyes fell on the documents in her hands, and he swallowed his rage. He turned his head away, feigning a hurt expression, saying affectionately, “As long as you explain, I’ll believe you.”
Shi Ning observed his act and sighed deeply. “Ah.”
Shi Qingyin, misinterpreting Shi Ning’s sigh as a sign of weakness, quickly chimed in, “Sister, you two can talk alone. I’ll go out and keep an eye on you. No one will disturb you or discover you.” She glanced subtly at the bouquet of flowers on the bedside table, where a camera was hidden.
Shi Ning, with a deceptively gentle smile, pulled Shi Qingyin back. “Don’t be impatient. Let’s talk it out.” She was about to begin her true mission: to sow discord between Shi Qingyin and Shen Xizhou, and watch them tear each other apart.
