I Don’t Mind You Being Ugly and Blind: Chapter 113

“Should I change too?” Su Yue’s eyes widened slightly in surprise.

Jiang Ci nodded, his firm chin lifted with a touch of arrogant pride as his slender fingers hooked the gray wolf costume. He chuckled, a low, magnetic sound. “Little Yue’er, let’s be fair. You want to see me transform, so of course, I want to see you change too.”

“Okay.” Su Yue agreed with a small nod. She had thought the outfit was cute when she bought it, but she hadn’t actually tried it on yet. If Jiang Ci wanted to watch the reveal, she didn’t mind. She gathered the paper bag from the chaise lounge and disappeared into the bathroom.

Having showered earlier, she was only in her pajamas, making the transition quick. She pulled out the white rabbit dress, the matching bunny ears, and two fluffy white bracelets.

As she pulled the dress over her curves, Su Yue realized it was daringly short. The hem, trimmed in pristine white fur, barely brushed her upper thighs. Standing before the mirror, she scrutinized her reflection. The length was provocative, but the effect was undeniable—it showcased her slender, fair legs, making them look incredibly long and eye-catching. A fluffy white rabbit tail was pinned to the back, bobbing playfully with her every move. She reached back, fingertips brushing the delicate, soft fur of the tail.

A knock sounded on the door, followed by a clear, magnetic voice. “Are you finished?”

“Almost,” Su Yue called back. She grabbed the rabbit ears from the sink. Whether by design or luck, one ear stood perfectly upright while the other drooped forward, giving her a look of helpless, endearing sweetness. She tried to adjust it, but the one ear remained stubbornly, cutely bent.

Outside, Jiang Ci had already donned his “ugly and foolish” big gray wolf costume. He was so tall and broad-shouldered that the pants were noticeably too short, ending well above his ankles. A large gray tail swung with a certain predatory arrogance behind him as he paced.

When the bathroom door finally clicked open, Jiang Ci was standing by the bed, arms crossed over his chest. He looked up, his dark eyes instantly locking onto Su Yue, pausing as he took her in.

“Aoao, the skirt is a little… short.” Su Yue was used to costumes on film sets, but this was different. She felt a flush of genuine embarrassment wearing this.

She walked toward him slowly, her short bunny tail swaying behind her. It was so cute it made her feel a strange sense of shame, and she instinctively reached back to try and cover it. As she reached him, she tilted her head, her face blooming a deep rose.

She had imagined the Big Bad Wolf version of Jiang Ci would be silly or even “moe” [萌 – A Japanese-borrowed term used in Chinese to describe something heart-meltingly cute]. But the man before her was anything but that . The wolf hood hung back off his shoulders; with his head tilted and his gaze fixed intensely on her, he looked exactly like a predator who had finally cornered his prey—fierce, ruthless, and hungry.

“Aoao, don’t stare like that. You’re making me nervous.” Her ears, partially hidden by her silken black hair, turned a bright crimson.

Jiang Ci uncrossed his arms and reached out, his large hand finding her head. He gently toyed with the drooping rabbit ear. “Why are you nervous?” he asked, his voice a low tease. His fingertips, marked with faint, rugged scars, brushed against the soft felt of the ear. His gaze drifted to the white furry bands on her slender wrists. Against the snowy fluff, her skin looked like polished jade—beautiful, pale, and delicately fragile.

Finally, his eyes traveled down the length of her exposed legs. A slow, knowing smile spread across his lips. The outfit was meant to be a sweet family set, but Su Yue wore it with a devastating blend of innocence and pure allure.

His eyes darkened with a heavy, deepening heat. He caught her wrist, tracing the furry bracelet with his thumb. “Little Yue’er… turn around. Let me feel your tail.”

Su Yue’s face burned hearing this . The request was technically innocent, yet the way he said it felt thick with hidden meaning. “You have one too. Go play with your own wolf tail,” she whispered.

“My ‘ugly’ tail is nothing compared to your ‘cute’ one,” Jiang Ci murmured, his handsome features alight with amusement. “Will you let me?”

Su Yue gave him a lingering look before turning around. Her short, fluffy bunny tail gave a little sway—so adorable it practically begged to be touched. Jiang Ci didn’t hesitate; his palm cupped the small tail, the white fur tickling his skin. For a moment, a jolt of sharp, pleasurable electricity shot up his spine.

His eyes clouded with a hint of self-deprecating resignation. This alluring “Rabbit Spirit”… his self-control was crumbling in front of her . Just touching a prop tail was enough to send a surge of excitement through him. He gave the tail a firm, playful tug. “Su Yue, your tail is too small. It doesn’t even fill my palm.”

“Don’t pull so hard! You’ll break it,” Su Yue cried, glancing back at him. Her dark eyes were shimmering, clear and bright—looking more like a startled doe or a rabbit than ever under the soft room lights.

Jiang Ci loosened his grip, unable to bring himself to damage something so precious. Su Yue didn’t understand the fascination, but as Jiang Ci stood behind her, his warm breath fanning her neck as he kneaded the fluffy fur, she felt her knees go weak.

“Stop playing, little white rabbit,” he muttered, finally tossing the tail aside. “Come here and let me hold you.”

Su Yue blushed furiously but turned and obediently nestled into his embrace. She tilted her head back with a shy, soft smile. “Here. Hold me.”

She was so yielding in his arms. Her costume was soft, her “ears” were soft, and her skin was softer still. As those long rabbit ears brushed against his chin, every cell in his body seemed to hum. He tightened his grip on her waist, feeling as if he had caught a real, enchanted rabbit spirit. His fingers cupped her delicate chin, and he leaned down to nip at her red lips.

A sharp, stinging sensation made Su Yue blink, and in the next moment, Jiang Ci led her toward the massive floor-to-ceiling mirror. Her snowy-white figure was reflected there, dwarfed by the tall, imposing “wolf” holding her from behind. In the reflection, the contrast was striking—the Big Bad Wolf and the Little White Rabbit were a perfect, if dangerous, match.

Jiang Ci buried his face in the crook of her neck, inhaling her faint, milky scent. “The Big Bad Wolf doesn’t just want to hug the little rabbit,” he whispered, his voice vibrating against her skin. “He wants to eat her.” He shifted closer, his body emphasizing his words. “The rabbit is so soft, so obedient… the wolf wants to swallow her whole.”

Su Yue saw their reflection and felt her heart hammer against her ribs. She glared at his image in the glass. “Don’t say such… strange things!” He was becoming far too audacious nowadays.

Jiang Ci only smiled as his eyes was burning. He nuzzled her neck and kissed her blushing earlobe. The predator was about to pounce on her.

As the night deepened. Outside, the snow danced under the warm amber glow of the streetlights, falling in a silent, heavy blanket.

Inside the cozy room, the mirror captured two figures entwined. The contrast was stark as his manly, taut muscles was pressed against her soft, fair skin. The fur trim of her white dress was crushed beneath the weight of the gray wolf, and the rabbit ears bobbed and swayed with every frantic beat of the heart.

Su Yue kept her eyes squeezed shut, unable to look. She was a swirl of shame and racing pulses. When she finally opened her eyes, they were rimmed with a watery red, making her look exactly like a frightened, beautiful little rabbit.

The next morning, Jiang Haoyan was up with the sun. He dutifully put on his bear-patterned jacket, brushed his teeth, and gathered his pets, Cilantro and Scallions.

As they passed his parents’ door, the little guy paused, hand raised to knock. Then, remembering how much his mother loved to sleep in, he withdrew his chubby hand. He turned to the dog and cat on the floor and whispered, “Mommy’s sleeping. We have to go downstairs quietly.” He pressed a finger to his lips. Shhh.

Mommy had promised they’d play “Little White Rabbit” and “Big Bad Wolf” with “Little Bear Haohao” today. With that happy thought, he waddled downstairs on his short legs, his little belly leading the way.

Outside, the snow had stopped, and the gray sky was beginning to brighten. The villa was silent. In the master bedroom, the gray wolf costume lay discarded on the floor, partially covering a white skirt and a pair of crumpled rabbit ears.

Su Yue didn’t wake until nearly noon and even after waking up her eyes felt dry and heavy—perhaps from the tears of the night before—and her throat was hoarse. As she tried to move, a wave of soreness washed over her back and legs. She felt like she’d been run over.

“Awake?”

A deep, husky voice rumbled beside her, thick with post-sleep languor. “Are you hungry? It’s noon. Should I have someone bring food up?” After the “commotion” of the night before, he knew she had to be starving.

Su Yue thought of his “terrible” behavior and stubbornly refused to look at him. He was too unrestrained; she truly couldn’t keep up with his pace.

Jiang Ci raised an eyebrow. He reached out, took her delicate hand, and lightly bit her pink fingertips through the blanket. “If you stay silent, I’ll take that as a ‘yes’ to the delivery. And I’ll feed you myself.”

“No! I’ll go downstairs,” Su Yue squeaked, finally finding her voice.

“Oh?” Jiang Ci leaned in, a smirk playing on his lips. “Can you even walk, Little Yue’er? Or I’ll carry you.”

Su Yue didn’t argue. she simply stretched out her arms, happy to let him serve her for once. But as they passed the large mirror, she felt a fresh wave of heat hit her face. She used to wonder why he wanted such a huge mirror in the bedroom. After last night, she knew exactly why. The memory of her every expression being reflected back at her made her want to die of embarrassment till now.

She was definitely throwing that mirror away.

When they finally reached the dining room, Haoyan was already at the table, waiting patiently. He perked up when he saw his father helping his mother down the stairs.

He scanned them both, his face falling into a pout of pure disappointment. “Did Mommy forget to be the rabbit? And Daddy isn’t the wolf either!”

Su Yue froze, guilt washing over her as she remembered her promise. But then she remembered the state of the rabbit dress—torn, rumpled, and the tail nearly ripped off. It was completely unwearable.

Beside her, Jiang Ci’s lips curled into a wicked smile. He looked at his son and said slowly, “There is no little rabbit today, Haohao. The Big Bad Wolf already ate her.”

“Ah!”

Haoyan’s jaw dropped, his big eyes widening in total shock. He didn’t quite grasp the “adult” meaning, but he knew one thing for sure: the Big Bad Wolf was a very, very bad guy!
